Vibration Criteria - It is vitally important to know what upper bound levels of vibration are acceptable.  ESI has criteria for many types of structures and sensitive equipment and we can also establish permissible vibration levels through on-site testing of your current conditions.  We work on electron microscopes,  MRIs and other medical imaging, and semiconductor labs.

Vibration Analysis - Examining design alternatives with analytical models can prevent costly mistakes before construction.  It can be very expensive to remedy some vibration problems after construction.  Vibration levels can be predicted analytically in advance with a range of input parameters, and cost-effective vibration control measures can be applied.

Vibration Monitoring - Vibration tests determine whether criteria and standards are being met, particularly in high-tech areas.  Motion not noticeable to people can cause resolution and surface finish problems with many products.  Vibration measurements are a valuable means of analyzing effects of mechanical equipment, traffic and subsurface seismic activity of a site.  Vibration monitoring of sites before construction, performance testing of new facilities and general vibration troubleshooting are a part of what we do.

Vibration Isolation - Designing low-vibration structures is critical to many projects.  Keeping resonant frequencies of the structure outside the range of disturbing frequencies is key.  Isolation details and methods are important in the design.  Our experience in the building industry stretches over 30 years and we are knowledgeable about equipment vibration.
